MARTYN COX – BIG IDEAS FOR SMALL SPACES
Martyn gardens on a small wind-swept patch on the South Coast. He has been writing, talking and broadcasting to amateur gardeners for 20 years, sharing his knowledge of plants, growing and practical techniques developed over many years. Martyn’s career took him from a part-time course at Amenity Horticulture at a local college to a commercial nursery where he did everything including stoking the boiler and finally to a commercial horticultural course at Writtle College in Essex where he came top of the class!
He then won a journalism scholarship which included a work placement at Horticulture Week. His journalistic career has taken him to Amateur Garden, BBC Gardener’s World and Garden Life. He writes a column in the Mail on Sunday together with articles for many publication and websites and has also found the time to publish 10 books.
